Diamond Tipped PCD Router Bits
Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) is an extremely hard cutting material .These Diamond tipped tools
last 30- 50 times longer than Carbide tipped tools.
They are very efficient in cutting a wide variety of tough abrasive materials including composites, particleboard, MDF
(either raw or laminated), HPL, veneers and hardwoods.
The common application is pre-cutting and sizing panels of abrasive materials in Point to Point CNC machines.
Designed for use on CNC machines, these tools have a much longer cutting life, eliminating the need to change tools often,
saving setup time and minimizing the handling of dull tools.
The Up / Down Shear design of the cutters, often referred to as “Compression” Bits, results in a good surface finish on
double sided laminated materials.
